Privacy policy

Here we explain what data we keep, what for, and how you can ask us to delete it. We only collect what is needed for you to play.

1. Responsible party

2. What data we keep

Your email address. We use it to identify your account, activate it, recover your password and reply to you. We do not show it to other players.
Your password, but never in plain text: we store an encrypted fingerprint (Argon2id) that cannot be reversed.
Your duelist name (alias) and its changes.
Your games: your collection, your decks, your starchips and your story progress, so you don't lose what you played.
Your duels: the opponent, the result, the duration and the moves, to referee, settle questions, detect cheating and let you watch the replay.
The reports you send, with the text you write and, if you choose, a screenshot and technical data from the game.
Voluntary contributions: the amount, the status and the screenshot of the receipt you upload, which may show your name as it appears in Yape or Plin.
Security data: the IP address and the date of sign-ins and other events on your account, to stop abuse.
If you sign in with Google: your Google account identifier and your verified email. Nothing else.

The copy of the game you load, your settings and the games saved in the browser stay on your device and never reach us.

3. What we use it for

To provide the service (account, story, duels and trades), keep it safe and fair, manage contributions and write to you about your account. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise and we do not use third-party analytics tools.

4. What others see

Your duelist name and, in recent duels, the result and the replay. We never show your email, your IP or your contributions.

5. Cookies

We only use necessary cookies, never advertising ones:

yfm_sesion keeps your session open: 24 hours, or 30 days if you tick “Remember me”.
yfm_google protects signing in with Google for a few minutes.
Our network provider, Cloudflare, may set technical cookies to tell people from bots.

6. Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need and only with what is essential. Some are in the United States:

Cloudflare: the network and the protection of the site. Connections go through its servers, with your IP.
Resend: sending your account emails.
Google: if you sign in with Google. Also, the home page loads fonts from Google Fonts.

We will only hand over data to an authority if a law or a valid order requires us to.

7. How long we keep it

Activation and password change links expire after 30 minutes.
Reports are deleted after 90 days: the screenshot, the text and the technical data. Only a count without personal data remains.
Your account, your games and your duels are kept for as long as your account exists.
Backups are encrypted and deleted after 14 days.

8. Deleting your account and your other rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it. To delete your account, sign in with it and use “Report a problem” inside the game; that way we know the request comes from you (the contact page explains it). We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days; we will only keep what the law requires us to keep, such as the record of contributions. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to Peru's National Authority for Personal Data Protection.

9. Minors

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are a minor, you need permission from your mother, father or guardian. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete its data.

10. Security

All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored encrypted, access to data is restricted and backups are encrypted. If an incident ever affects your data, we will let you know.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is important, we will let you know beforehand.
